Seasonal/Summer position – June-August 2026

Position is open at our ACA-accredited camp, Camp Hawthorne Ridge (Girard, PA)

 The Camp Nurse oversees the health and safety standards of the camp through close collaboration with the Camp Director and Director of member Health and Safety. This role is responsible for ensuring comprehensive medical supervision for all staff and campers throughout their stay. The Camp Nurse is responsible for managing medication administration and providing on-site health management in compliance with Pennsylvania State Law, GSUSA and ACA health and safety guidelines. The Camp Nurse must be available for camp check-in to provide health screenings and accept camper medications. During camp sessions, the Camp Nurse must be available to make daily visits to camp to oversee the health and safety of campers and staff.

Requirements

Position Details:

       Duration: Early June to early August

       Compensation: $25–$35 per hour

       Requirements:

o   Current, unincumbered PA Registered Nursing License

o   Minimum age of 21

o   Successful completion of background checks
