Required qualifications:

- Graduation from an accredited nursing program \n
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. \n
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. \n
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire \n
- 1 year PICU Nursing experience. \n
Preferred qualifications:

- \n
- National Certification in area of specialty upon hire, unless otherwise indicated. \n

Ideal Candidate: 1 Full year of PICU experience as a full time RN. Will not consider any candidates that do not have PICU experience. Experience must be post graduation of a Nursing program. Clinical rotation do not count toward the 1 year of experience

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Registered Nurse New York state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
- One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Healthcare Staffing Plus is a US based national per diem, local contract, and locum tenens agency. We are located in the beautiful rolling hills of southern Indiana just outside of Louisville, KY.

Responsibilities:
- ACT teams are multi-disciplinary and include psychiatry, nursing, social work, peer specialists and other staff members offering rehabilitation, treatment and recovery support services
- Using a person-centered approach, team members collaborate to deliver comprehensive, integrated and flexible services
- With a small staff to participant ratio, in-person and on phone services are brought to the participant and offered in the community setting
Position Duties Include :
- The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses and monitors client's clinical health and response to treatment
- Guide the development of policies and procedures and identification of resources essential to delivery of nursing services
- Conduct psychiatric and physical health assessments
- Provide management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist
- Administer IM's and vaccines, performs phlebotomy as per orders
