*LOCATION: BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE ROUND ROCK, TX* *DEPT: Oncology Infusion Clinic* *SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm* Must have Oncology experience. Job Summary As a Ambulatory Nursing Manager you will also focus on ensuring the clinical specialty program runs efficiently and cost-effectively. Handles policies execution, budget oversight, quality enhancement measures, and organizes educational programs to meet departmental and company goals. Essential Functions of the Role * You'll coordinate patient care, promote evidence-based practices, conduct research, and advocate for patients, families, and staff. * You'll manage department operations, including budgeting and staffing. Your role will also focus on ensuring the clinical specialty program runs efficiently and cost-effectively. * Accountable for supportive work environment for nursing team. * Emphasizes top-notch nursing practices and ensures safe space for patients, families, and staff. Key Success Factors * You will need a solid grasp of nursing, patient care, medical terms, ethics, and privacy laws. * Knowing how to care for different age groups is crucial too. * Good communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and teamwork are key for success. * Being professional, dedicated, and serving the community are also essential.
