Overview:

The mission of the Early Professional Enrichment Program (EPEP) is to provide first hand clinical experience and exposure to post-baccalaureate graduates who are seeking to apply to graduate medical schooling. This unique opportunity allows for the individual to work alongside medical providers while building a professional network.

Responsibilities: Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Qualifications: Education

• Bachelor's Degree with active plans to pursue advanced degree in healthcare, such as Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program or medical school Required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

• No experience required No experience is required with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required
