Description

Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced pediatric care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and manage evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinate care for children with diverse medical needs. Working in a collaborative, mission-driven, and multidisciplinary environment, you will partner with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in our state-of-the-art facilities to advance patient safety, quality outcomes, and innovative approaches to pediatric care, education, and family-centered support.
Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments, including history and physical examinations
Develop, implement, and adjust evidence-based treatment and care plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and care plans
Document care in the electronic health record accurately and timely
Participate in quality improvement, safety, and clinical innovation initiatives
Precept or mentor learners as appropriate and support staff education
Contribute to care coordination and discharge planning for pediatric patients
