Description
LocumJobsOnline is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care within our Healthcare & Medical Services network. In this locum tenens-focused role, you will perform assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and collaborate with physicians and care teams across diverse clinical settings. You’ll use our tech-enabled platform to coordinate assignments, document care, and maintain regulatory compliance. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and lab results
Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans
Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, and self-care
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care
Document all encounters accurately in electronic health records and platform tools
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including prescribing and documentation standards
Adapt quickly to varied clinical environments and workflows across assignments
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives as requested
Advanced patient assessment
Clinical diagnosis and treatment planning
Prescriptive authority and medication management
Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, HTN, COPD)
Acute/urgent care management
Interpretation of diagnostic tests and lab results
Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration
Patient education and counseling
Regulatory and compliance knowledge (state, DEA, CMS)

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in relevant state(s)
National Board Certification as an NP (e.g., AANP or ANCC)
Valid DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
