Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
Diagnose health conditions by examining patients and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Prescribe medications, treatments, and other therapies.
Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Educate patients and their families on health care, including prevention and treatment plans.
Keep records of patient interactions, processes, and prescribed medications.
Excellent diagnostic skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) software
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Adaptable to dynamic environments
Medical Insurance
Current and valid state Nurse Practitioner license
Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
